For the caramel, introduce the ingredients in a pot and cook over medium heat until it is caramelized. Be careful, since it gets burned very quickly.
Before it cools, distribute it in the flan molds. Depending on the size, you will get 4 or 5 flans.
Introduce the ingredients of the cream in a saucepan, except the vanilla extract. Mix properly with the aid of a whisk and cook over medium heat while stirring. Add the vanilla extract, mix properly, bring to a boil, and remove from the heat. Let it cool for a minute, then put it in the flan molds.
Place it in the fridge and let it cool for at least 3 hours.
To unmold, run a tip along the edge of the flan mold and, if necessary, slightly temper the base of the flan molds by placing them in mild water. Turn it out onto the plate and enjoy!
