The beginnings of Soria Natural are rooted in Phytotherapy. The passion for medicinal plants that the founder of Soria Natural, Antonio Esteban Villalobos, felt since he was a child, was transformed into a business project that has grown over the years.
New ranges of nutritional supplements and dietetic products were added to the natural products based on medicinal plants. In 1995 Soria Natural launched Homeosor, now called Pharmasor, its pharmaceutical division.
In 2003, ahead of market trends, Soria Natural opened a new line dedicated to the cultivation, processing and marketing of organic and 100% plant-based foods.
Soria Natural has a staff of more than 500 professionals and a product catalog of more than 800 natural references. We are present in more than 4,000 sales points among herbal shops, parapharmacies, ecocenters, pharmacies and supermarkets.
Soria Natural is also firmly committed to a strategy of international expansion.
In addition to our production plant in Garray (Soria), we have another laboratory in Querétaro (Mexico) and we distribute our natural products in the five continents.

In this environment is located our laboratory, state-of-the-art facilities with an area of more than 30.000 m2.
There are more than 550 hectares of organic crops just a few kilometers around our production plant, where we cultivate our own raw materials. We grow more than 70 different species certified with the European seal of Organic Agriculture, including medicinal plants, cereals and vegetables.
It brings the opportunity to know all about plants, their botanical information and their therapeutic properties.
The demographic problem of the province of Soria and the lack of industrialization provides a great opportunity for organic crops.
Air and soil purity. In our surroundings there are no uncontrolled spills, no industries that trigger air pollution, no roads with heavy traffic next to our fields.
The altitude above sea level has a beneficial influence on the growth of the plant because the closer it is to the roof of the life, the more active principles, flavor and properties it accumulates. Soria is located at 1100 meters above sea level.
We do not use chemical fertilizers (nitrates, phosphates...) to improve the growth of our plants, nor do we use pesticides or chemical pesticides to prevent the growth of certain plants and insects.
In Soria Natural we obtain organic fertilizer from our own composting plant.
Here we use the pulp of the medicinal plants that remains after the extraction process of active principles, together with the remains of vegetables and fresh plant fibers. After a process of drying, fermentation and transformation, the organic compost is obtained.
All of our crops are irrigated with pure rainwater and spring water, filtered by the soil itself.
The short distance between our crops and the production laboratory is also crucial to maintain the quality of Soria Natural´s raw materials.
We add one more factor: respect.
We take care of the plant with special dedication from seed to harvest in its optimum moment, during the most propitious lunar phase and in the best conditions. This delicate care has allowed Soria Natural to achieve milestones that seemed impossible, such as the first organic ginseng plantation in Europe.
